Wood Shed Lumber & Hardware Supply is looking for a hands-on leader to oversee our yard and warehouse operations.
This isn't a position where you'll spend your day sitting behind a desk. We need someone who enjoys staying busy, working alongside their team, and taking pride in a well-run operation.
You'll play an important role in keeping materials moving, customers taken care of, and your crew working together.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading and working alongside the yard and warehouse team
- Organizing daily workloads and keeping operations running smoothly
- Overseeing incoming shipments, inventory, and customer orders
- Making sure materials are pulled, loaded, and delivered accurately
- Training employees and helping build a dependable team
- Keeping the yard safe, organized, and efficient
- Identifying problems and taking the initiative to find solutions
What We're Looking For
- Takes initiative without waiting to be told what needs done
- Can lead a team while still being willing to jump in and help
- Stays organized and thinks ahead
- Communicates well and holds themselves and others accountable
- Understands the importance of customer service
- Has experience in lumber, construction, warehouse operations, agriculture, or another hands-on industry
- Is comfortable working outdoors and handling physical work
Previous leadership and forklift experience are a plus.
