Youth Development Mentor

• Provide guidance, emotional support and mentorship to teenage girls in a residential setting.
• Build positive and trusting relationships with the youths and provide a safe and supportive environment.
• Support youths in their personal, emotional and social development.
• Plan and conduct recreational, developmental and engagement activities for the youths.
• Monitor and provide support for youths’ daily routines, behaviour and well-being.
• Identify youths’ needs and concerns, and provide appropriate intervention or referrals when required.
• Work closely with social workers, counsellors and other professionals to support each youth’s development plan.
• Maintain accurate case notes, records and reports on youths’ progress and incidents.
• Guide youths in developing life skills, independence, resilience and positive coping skills.
• Manage conflicts and challenging behaviours in a calm, supportive and appropriate manner.
• Ensure compliance with policies, residential care standards and safeguarding requirements.
• Participate in team meetings, training and other programmes or activities
