Summary of the Role

Imagine a place where every young person, regardless of their background or circumstances, has the opportunity to explore, grow, and thrive. A place where potential isn’t just recognized, but nurtured, empowering young people to become the leaders of tomorrow. At the Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica (SMBGC), we’re dedicated to turning this vision into reality, providing transformative experiences that help youth discover their strengths and achieve their dreams.

These positions are key to opening the door to new after school possibilities for youth in the community. Qualified candidates will have a passion for serving 6th-8th grade students with engaging after school curriculum, games, and opportunities to explore civic engagement and youth leadership.

As highly visible, active, and engaged staff, YDPs will drive outreach and enrollment for Paul Revere students, build relationships with school staff, parents, and community, and lead safe enrichment activities that range from tutoring, career exploration, healthy lifestyle curriculum, and a host of character and leadership opportunities.
