Position Overview:
The Youth Development Professional Floater (YDP-F) provides direct care and supervision to children in the Specialized Therapeutic Group Home Program while following daily programming, implementing behavior management strategies, maintaining communication, and completing required documentation. The YDP-F works a regular 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m. schedule, 40 hours per week, and serves as the primary coverage for staff absences, including scheduled and unexpected vacancies across shifts.
Open Shift: Tuesday-Saturday 3pm-11pm (Is required to be available to cover other shifts when needed)

Supervise and guide children while maintaining a safe, supportive environment.

Provide transportation, prepare meals, administer medications, and complete daily shift duties.

Implement behavior management strategies and support treatment goals.

Complete required documentation and maintain accurate program records.

Respond effectively to crisis situations and follow approved intervention procedures.
