Youth - Stringed Instruments Trainer
Summary
Teach string instruments (Guzheng, Erhu, Guqin) and lead ensemble rehearsals for youths, preparing them for performances and competitions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Ensemble training for youths
- Teach string instruments (Guzheng, Erhu, Guqin) and ensemble playing.
- Prepare members for performances, concerts, and competitions.
- Rearrange music scores when needed.
- Plan and deliver engaging training sessions.
- Guide and motivate students to improve their musical skills.
- Work with the organiser to plan rehearsals and performances.
Requirements
- Trained in at least one string instrument (Guzheng, Erhu, Guqin or Similar) with a recognized music qualification.
- Experience working with youths
- Recent experience in performing, conducting, or teaching a Orchestra or Music Ensemble.
- Recent experience teaching string instruments.
- Able to teach more than one string instrument is an advantage.
- Experience in rearranging music scores is preferred.
