Youth Worker (Bedok)

Job Scope

  1. Programme Planning & Delivery – Plan and conduct age-appropriate activities covering life skills, positive behaviour, emotional regulation, coping strategies, and resilience.
  2. Individualised Support – Provide group and individual support, build rapport with students, understand their needs, and adapt approaches accordingly.
  3. Collaboration with School Staff – Work closely with SENO, form teachers, and school counsellor; share observations and align activities with students’ IEPs where applicable.
  4. Documentation & Reporting – Maintain session records and submit mid-term and end-of-contract progress reports, including activities, student progress, and recommendations.
  5. Safeguarding & Referral – Follow school safeguarding policies and promptly escalate student welfare concerns to the SENO or school counsellor.

Qualification:

1.The personnel supplied by the Contractor shall be registered with the Ministryof Education.

2.The Personnel should preferably have the following qualifications, skills andexperience:

•Possess a recognised qualification in Youth Work, Social Work, SpecialEducation, Psychology, or a related field (minimum Diploma level)

•Have at least 2 years of experience working with children or youth with SEN,preferably with ID, ASD, or ADHD profiles

•Be familiar with positive behaviour support strategies and trauma-informedapproaches.

ContractPeriod: From 14 September 2026 to 3 September 2027

• Monday -Friday: 9.00am to 2.00pm

• Servicesnot required on Saturdays, Sundays, gazetted school holidays and publicholidays.
