Youth Worker

Job Description

• Provide counselling, mentoring and emotional support to students requiring intervention.
• Identify students’ social, emotional and behavioural challenges and develop appropriate interventions.
• Equip students with coping strategies and resilience skills.
• Plan and conduct individual/group engagement programmes and after-school activities.
• Conduct home visits, stakeholder meetings and referrals when required.
• Monitor student progress and liaise with school personnel.
• Maintain counselling records and submit weekly case summaries.
• Share counselling tips with teachers and stakeholders

Requirements

• Diploma in Counselling, Psychology or equivalent.
• Experience in counselling or working with secondary school students.
• Strong skills in student engagement communication, relationship-building, emotional regulation and conflict management.
