Youth Worker |School |Tanglin Halt Road |Part Time

The Servicesrequired shall include:

1. Toconnect with identified students on a regular basis over a

prolongedduration (approximately 6 months), build positive

relationshipsand contribute to the holistic development of the

students.

2. Toprovide academic and/or socio-emotional support during

curriculumhours if students are unable to integrate back to class or

catch up dueto absences.

3. Toconduct house visits and ferry identified students to school if

student isabsent from school for more than 3 days, without valid

reasons(more details will be shared upon award).

4. To planand conduct intervention programmes customised

to students’needs and aligned to the school’s efforts in

characterdevelopment after school on Tuesdays, which include

but notlimited to:

i. Academicsupport programme

ii.Mentoring programme

iii.Engagement programme

5. Toobserve/identify and document the key needs of the students and

to reportsuch cases to the Year Heads / Assistant Year Heads

overseeingprogramme and School Leaders for further intervention

and support

6. Toprovide feedback on students’ needs, programme experience and

concerns, sothat the school can better support the students.

7. Toconduct review of the engagement programme at the end of each

term andrecommend improvements for future implementation.

8. Toconduct themselves professionally in their interactions with the

students andschool personnel, and work with Year Heads / Assistant

Year Headsin supporting the students.
