About the role
Senior Project Manager supporting business development, project management, and investment initiatives across Hong Kong and Mainland China markets for a cloud communications technology company.
Key responsibilities
Assist the General Manager in formulating and executing business development and sales strategies in Hong Kong and Mainland China, expanding key clients, partners, and channel resources
Lead commercial negotiations for critical projects, driving sales initiatives, tendering management, and commercial execution for major cross-border projects to achieve performance growth targets
Travel to select Southeast Asian countries as needed to develop and maintain local client relationships
Assist the General Manager in maintaining relationships with key suppliers including China Mobile International, China Mobile Hong Kong, China Telecom Global, and China Unicom Global
Oversee full-process planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery for major company projects; coordinate cross-functional and cross-regional team resources to ensure timely, high-quality, and compliant delivery
Establish effective project tracking and risk warning mechanisms to manage costs, schedules, and quality, while handling complex stakeholder relationships and key milestones
Assist the General Manager with commercial due diligence, financial assessments, and feasibility evaluations for target investments and partnerships in Hong Kong and Mainland China
Oversee post-investment tracking and operational enablement to foster resource synergies and value enhancement between portfolio projects and existing company operations
Leverage Hong Kong and Mainland China as a dual-directional hub to facilitate the connection of market opportunities, policies, technologies, and capital resources across both regions
Support the General Manager in analyzing industry trends, establishing compliance standards, and executing strategic plans
About you
Master's degree or above from a well-known domestic or overseas university, with an interdisciplinary background in Finance, Banking, Financial Management, Business Administration, or Science & Engineering
Graduates from mainland Chinese universities must be from C9 League institutions
At least 5 years of experience in project management, sales development, or investment management within high-tech or cross-border sectors
Extensive practical experience in business expansion across Mainland China and Hong Kong, with deep familiarity with the commercial environment, regulatory frameworks, and enterprise sales models in both regions
Mastery of full lifecycle project management methodologies; strong execution control over complex, large-scale projects, alongside exceptional risk management and cross-departmental/cross-regional coordination skills
Demonstrated strength in enterprise client acquisition, commercial negotiations, and closing deals, with the ability to independently drive high-value commercial partnerships
Solid foundation in financial analysis, investment evaluation, and post-investment management, with the ability to evaluate project implementation from commercial returns and capital perspectives
Exceptional strategic thinking, leadership, resilience under pressure, and outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
Professional bilingual working proficiency in Mandarin/Cantonese and fluent English, with full adaptability to Hong Kong and international business environments
