PURPOSE OF JOB:
The Application Specialist in IKEA Taiwan will report to the Application Leader. The key responsibility of this function is to offer the excellent professional application knowledge and engage with practical business operation to fulfill end users requirement. Also, to act as the communication bridge between users and application service provider to ensure the agreed business requirement be converted to business solution.

ASSIGNMENT:
1. Offer the quality support service of IT application to end users and ensure the rubust daily business operation. Application service scope to cover application maintenance, service pack implementation, local application development & maintenance, business request analysis, help desk escalation follow up, incident management, problem management, application change request management and appointed projects
2. Assist the line manager to coordinate the daily tasks of application service with IKEA IT, Dairy Farm Group IT, contractors or service providers in order to provide high quality and efficient service to the end users
3. Proactive to review and propose any good opportunity on business solution to help users who can work more efficient and good quality
4. Participate the application project, perform and manage planned activities or appointed assignments from line manager. eg. Hotfix, service pack implementation and business function project etc
5. Provide the necessary application training to IT team or end users
6. Analyse, resolve and document application incident cases in close co-operation with users in an efficient and professional manner
7. Perform all daily tasks according to set procedures, rules and guidelines to secure the availability of business application
8. Engage with Risk Management for IT security policy to manage and secure the business information. Also, engage with line manager to assist annual regular or non regular auditing activities to ensure all risks were continue improvement and under controlled
