No API key needed. Approve account access in your browser and revoke it from Connected devices at any time.

  1. 1 The directory listing above and a custom connection are separate install options. Custom connections require your ChatGPT workspace to allow adding MCP servers and using the tools you need.
  2. 2 Open Plugins and choose Add, then Add custom MCP server.
  3. 3 Name it freehire and paste the address.
  4. 4 Choose OAuth or no authentication, then connect with or without an account.
  5. 5 In a new chat, pick freehire from the + menu and ask a job question.

For personal tools, use your assistant's sign-in or authentication control and approve the freehire connection in your browser. Keep the same server address.

Or copy this and send it to your agent

prompt

Add the freehire MCP server to ChatGPT. Its address is https://freehire.me/api/v1/mcp (streamable HTTP transport). Public search works without an account. For personal tools, start OAuth sign-in and let me approve access in my browser. Keep this same server address. When it is connected, run one job search to confirm it works, then tell me it is ready.

Things to ask

Find jobs

  • “Remote senior Go jobs in Europe posted this week”
  • “Junior data analyst roles in Berlin with a stated salary”

Look at an employer

  • “What is Stripe hiring for right now?”
  • “Fintech companies hiring backend engineers in Poland”

Read the market

  • “What does a senior frontend role pay in Germany?”
  • “Which skills do DevOps postings ask for most?”

With your account

  • “Find jobs that fit my profile and save the best three”
  • “Which of my applications have gone quiet?”

What the connector can reach

  • Public job postings, employer profiles and market figures — the same catalogue the site shows.
  • Without sign-in it cannot see or change anything of yours.
  • With your account it reads your profile and tracked jobs, and saves, marks applied or moves jobs on your board — never another person's. It can also manage alerts, suggest missing dictionary terms and report problems. Automatic applications require your permission, a supported employer form and review before submission.

Prefer a local server or the terminal? The CLI and npx MCP server use the same API.
