About
At the American University in the Emirates (AUE), we operate with the firm belief that 'Nothing is Impossible'. Since our founding in 2006, situated in the vibrant hub of Dubai International Academic City, we have dedicated ourselves to transforming the educational experience for students in the UAE and beyond. We recognize that our students—our most valued customers—face the complex challenge of preparing for a future defined by rapid technological change and global interconnectedness. That is why we have designed our institution to be more than just a place of learning; we are a launchpad for future leaders who are ready to make a tangible impact on the world. Our approach is rooted in a student-centric philosophy that prioritizes individual growth, practical skills, and academic excellence. We offer a comprehensive American-style curriculum across seven distinct colleges, including Business Administration, Computer Information Technology, Design, Education, Law, Media and Mass Communication, and Security and Global Studies. We understand that to succeed in today's economy, students need access to cutting-edge resources. Consequently, we have partnered with industry leaders to establish facilities like the HPE Digital Life Garage and integrated advanced digital libraries like Kortext, ensuring our learners are proficient in emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain. Beyond the classroom, we are committed to the holistic well-being and professional development of our community. We provide a supportive environment that encourages critical thinking, creativity, and civic responsibility. By offering rigorous academic programs accredited by the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) and international bodies, we ensure that every AUE graduate leaves with a qualification that is respected globally. We are here to help you navigate your journey, overcome obstacles, and realize that with the right education and support, indeed, nothing is impossible.
