DeGate is a decentralized exchange (DEX) protocol operating on the Ethereum network, leveraging Zero-Knowledge (ZK) Rollup technology to provide a high-performance, low-cost trading experience. The platform is designed to bridge the gap between centralized exchanges (CEXs) and decentralized platforms by offering familiar features such as spot order book trading and grid trading, while ensuring users maintain full self-custody of their assets. This approach addresses common pain points in the DeFi space, including high gas fees and slower transaction speeds, by batching transactions off-chain before submitting them to the Ethereum mainnet, thereby enhancing efficiency and scalability without compromising the security inherent to the Ethereum blockchain.
