About

In 2001, Simone Zinanni started his entrepreneurial project with a clear vision: to provide a software development service based on the most innovative technologies and rigorous engineering practices. What began as a small enterprise with great enthusiasm has grown into a leading Italian technology partner for industrial innovation. Develer specializes in developing both hardware and software solutions across a wide range of sectors, from consumer products to control systems for industrial machinery. The company operates as part of the Comelz group, an industrial organization that designs and manufactures the world's most technologically advanced leather and textile-cutting machines, bringing deep expertise in electronic design and software development to the group's innovation efforts. The company employs over 80 professionals and has completed more than 300 projects for over 100 clients, including major international companies like Electrolux, GE Transportation, Thales, Eni, and La Marzocco. Develer's team of hardware and software experts works in a 1300m² facility that accommodates up to 130 team members, fostering an environment that is free and informal yet rigorous in methods and skills. Develer offers comprehensive services including hardware design, embedded software development, desktop and mobile application development, web and cloud solutions, and AI-powered systems such as computer vision and conversational interfaces. The company is particularly known for its commitment to open-source technologies and its approach of training clients to become autonomous with their products.
