Health is one of the most precious things we have. Year after year, the need for care grows rapidly. The number of people on the planet and their life expectancy are increasing. At the same time, there has been a rise in disease of all kinds, in particular chronic, mental illness, traumatic injuries and pandemic. Most countries are investing more and more in healthcare to respond to these challenges and deliver care to their population. Care teams are also working harder and harder to serve their patients. However, their task is becoming increasingly difficult as there are not enough healthcare professionals to treat the growing number of patients, and they are often isolated or spread unevenly across geographic regions. They don’t have the means to help everyone every day and run their medical practices or hospitals. Some say we’re facing a dead end.
