We are a family-owned global medical device company with a proud heritage of innovation and care, founded over 50 years ago by pharmacist Tom George Eakin who was inspired by listening to the problems of ostomates and nurses. What started with one man's mission to solve leaking urostomy pouches has grown into a worldwide enterprise, with the company still keeping it in the family after all these years. Today, we deliver innovative solutions across three therapeutic areas: Ostomy, Respiratory, and Surgical, along with our award-winning Respond home delivery service. Our flagship product, the eakin Cohesive® seal, remains at the core of our ostomy business, while we've expanded to offer a comprehensive range of medical devices. With three UK manufacturing sites in Comber, Coleraine, and Cardiff, a team of over 700 dedicated people, 12 international sales and distribution centres, and exports to over 60 countries, we're united by one mission: working together to improve lives.
