ErinoakKids Centre for Treatment and Development is Ontario's largest children's treatment centre, serving nearly 17,000 children and youth with disabilities annually across the Peel and Halton regions. The organization delivers comprehensive family-centered treatment, rehabilitation, and support services to children with physical, developmental, and communication disabilities. Through multidisciplinary teams of healthcare professionals, ErinoakKids provides specialized programs including autism services, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, recreation therapy, medical clinics, and early intervention programs for children with blind-low vision needs and hearing impairments. Founded in 1971 by a group of engaged parents, ErinoakKids has grown from a grassroots initiative into the largest of Ontario's 20 children's treatment centres. The organization operates multiple state-of-the-art facilities in Mississauga, Brampton, and Oakville, bringing therapy, medical, and support services under one roof for families. ErinoakKids partners with regional hospitals, community organizations, and school boards to deliver coordinated care that helps children and youth achieve optimal levels of independence. The centre's mission is to help children with disabilities reach their full potential through evidence-based interventions, innovative programs, and compassionate family support.
