In 2017, two Stoke-on-Trent school friends Ardian Mula and Mohammed Shakil spotted a gap in the UK food delivery market. Frustrated by the high commission rates charged by existing platforms to local takeaways and restaurants, they launched Foodhub with a disruptive business model that charged significantly lower fees to restaurant partners. This approach quickly resonated with thousands of independent takeaways across the country. Originally operating under the name Touch2Success, the company rebranded to Foodhub as it expanded its footprint beyond the UK. Today, Foodhub has grown into one of the UK's leading online takeaway ordering platforms, serving customers in the UK, Ireland, USA, Australia, and New Zealand. The platform partners with over 30,000 takeaways and restaurants, offering customers access to more than 60 different cuisines including Indian, Pizza, Chinese, Kebabs, Thai, Chicken, and more.
