Graza

About

Graza is a direct-to-consumer company dedicated to transforming the olive oil industry by making high-quality, fresh, and affordable extra virgin olive oil a staple in every kitchen. Founded in 2021 by Andrew Benin and Allen Dushi, the company was born out of the realization that the North American market was saturated with either prohibitively expensive, artisanal olive oils or low-quality, blended alternatives. Graza positions itself to disrupt this status quo by offering premium, single-origin olive oil that is 'made to be used' liberally and joyfully in everyday cooking. The company's product line is centered around transparency and quality, sourcing its olives exclusively from Jaén, Spain, a region responsible for a significant portion of the world's olive oil production. Graza uses 100% Picual olives, a varietal known for its high polyphenol content, stability, and bold flavor profile. This commitment to single-origin sourcing ensures that the oil is never blended, a common practice that can compromise quality and freshness. To further emphasize freshness, Graza includes the harvest date on its packaging. The brand's innovative and user-friendly packaging, featuring chef-inspired, opaque squeeze bottles, is a key differentiator. This design is not only visually distinctive and social media-friendly but also functional, protecting the oil from light degradation and allowing for precise application. The product lineup includes 'Drizzle,' a finishing oil from early-harvest olives with a bold taste, and 'Sizzle,' a cooking oil from more mature olives with a mellower flavor.
