About

The IFRS Foundation is a not‑for‑profit organization that creates and maintains global standards for financial reporting and sustainability disclosures. Through its two independent boards—the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) and the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB)—the Foundation issues IFRS Accounting Standards and IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards that are adopted by over 140 jurisdictions for accounting and by nearly 40 jurisdictions for sustainability reporting. By delivering transparent, comparable, and high‑quality information, the IFRS Foundation helps companies communicate effectively with investors and supports better investment decisions. The Foundation’s trustees oversee strategy and governance, and its global presence includes offices in Beijing, Frankfurt, London, Montreal, San Francisco, and Tokyo, offering education, publications, and tools such as XBRL to facilitate corporate and integrated reporting.
