We’re an international group of companies with around 8,000 co-workers across 11 countries, working in real estate, production, insurance, data analytics and retail. Originally part of IKEA, we became an independent group in 1988 and have been owned by the Kamprad family ever since. Our mission is pretty straightforward: simplify the lives of the many people. We don’t believe in unnecessary complexity – our Småland heritage taught us that common sense and simplicity work best. Our culture is built on three values that guide everything we do: common sense and simplicity, working together, and daring to be different. We’re not trying to be flashy – we’re down-to-earth people who care about doing things properly. Being on fair terms matters to us, whether we’re dealing with customers, partners, or each other. We believe business should be about finding better ways together, not one-person shows. Making mistakes is okay here – it’s how we learn and improve.
