LinkUp Teletherapy was founded by two therapists, Tracie Beckmann and Janet Kickham, who noticed a significant gap in speech therapy services for school-aged children. With over 25 years of combined clinical and management experience, they established the company in 2018 - well before the pandemic made remote services mainstream - to provide schools with quality, accessible speech therapy through a secure, purpose-built online platform. The company operates as a therapist-owned, women-owned business that delivers goal-directed, interactive speech therapy visits via secured video sessions. Their platform is specifically designed for speech therapy, featuring on-screen goal tracking during sessions and a virtual library with interactive speech activities. LinkUp therapists attend and case manage on IEPs, perform evaluations and screenings, and complete Medicaid documentation for school districts nationwide. The company was recently acquired by Point Quest Group to expand speech and language services for K-12 students.
