Founded in 2014 and rooted in climate research, the company was born when co-founder Kristian Ronn, working at Oxford University simulating climate change consequences, decided to take action against global warming. He joined forces with Adam Wamai Egesa and Robin Undall-Behrend to create what they describe as the world's first carbon accounting engine.
