The story of ONDEWO began with a visionary idea in 2016, when two friends and former McKinsey consultants decided to revolutionize the way humans and machines interact. Officially founded in 2017 in Vienna, Austria, by Dr. techn. Andreas S. Rath, the company set out on a mission to build the operating system for human-machine communication. What started as a bold concept quickly transformed into a high-tech AI company dedicated to automating and enhancing customer service experiences through advanced technology. From its early days of developing a marketplace for Facebook Messenger chatbots, ONDEWO rapidly evolved to focus on its core strength: deep learning and machine learning algorithms. By 2018, the team had honed its focus on creating a unique conversational AI platform, leading to the development of their proprietary Natural Language Understanding (NLU) and Speech-to-Text (S2T) technologies.
