We are Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E), a subsidiary of PG&E Corporation, and one of the largest combined natural gas and electric companies in the United States. For over 115 years, we've been an integral part of the communities we serve, diligently working to deliver clean, safe, reliable, and affordable energy across our vast service area. Our dedicated team of approximately 23,000 employees is committed to powering Northern and Central California, a region stretching from Eureka in the north to Bakersfield in the south, and from the Pacific Ocean to the Sierra Nevada. We provide essential natural gas and electric service to approximately 16 million people, encompassing 5.5 million electric customer accounts and 4.5 million natural gas customer accounts within a 70,000-square-mile territory. Our mission extends beyond simply delivering energy; we are actively driving change within the utility industry to support California's transition to a cleaner energy economy.
