With extensive backgrounds in R&D and infrastructure management at major tech companies, they experienced firsthand the growing complexities of cloud environments. The advent of cloud providers like AWS was meant to simplify infrastructure, but as these platforms grew, they became sprawling and intricate, demanding more and more of developers' precious time – time that should have been spent coding and building innovative products. This pain point was especially acute for scaling startups and enterprises looking to accelerate their development cycles without getting bogged down in operational overhead. It was from this shared experience and a desire to empower developers that the idea for Qovery was born in 2019.
