About
In early 2015, at a small Minnesota office, Rakuna's first solution took its first breath as a simple mobile app with one single feature: taking resume snapshots. Thus began an incredible journey to empower companies to hire their next wave of talent. Founded in Minnesota in 2015 with its headquarters later established in San Francisco, Rakuna was awarded a National Science Foundation grant, setting the stage for its growth. The board of advisors was set up in the same year with top leaders from various industries, solidifying the company's foundation. With an expansion plan in mind, Rakuna opened its Asia Pacific office (APAC) in 2016 to increase its ability to develop and bring more innovative recruiting solutions to more organizations. By 2018, the company piloted two new products: Interview Scheduling and Recruiting CRM, completing the puzzle of their pre-ATS ecosystem. Today, Rakuna helps hi-tech companies, finance firms, and heavy-industrial corporations eliminate manual HR work, both offline and online. Rakuna continues its mission to help employers adapt to the ever-changing recruiting landscape and hire the next wave of talent, refusing to lay off a single employee even during global challenges, focusing instead on improving their solutions.
