Silvus Technologies

About

At the heart of Silvus Technologies is a mission to be at the forefront of bringing the revolutionary benefits of MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) communication technology to the transmission of high-fidelity video, voice, and data in the most challenging conditions. Founded in 2004, Silvus assembled a dedicated team of scientists and engineers to tackle complex communication hurdles such as severe multipath, Non-Line-of-Sight (NLOS) propagation, interference, high mobility, and spectrum congestion. This commitment to innovation was initially fueled by pursuing and successfully executing over $56 million in U.S. Government-funded R&D contracts. The knowledge and experience gained through these early research efforts paved the way for the development of their commercial product line, the StreamCaster family of MANET (Mobile Ad-hoc Network) radios, launched in 2011. This marked a significant milestone, leveraging deep MIMO expertise to serve a broader range of critical communication needs. Silvus Technologies fosters a culture of relentless innovation and customer-centric problem-solving. The company prides itself on an aggressive product development cycle, continuously striving to improve the size, weight, power, and cost (SWaP-C) of its offerings while simultaneously introducing next-generation features and capabilities. Their core belief is in delivering a strong value proposition to their customer base, which includes military, law enforcement, public safety agencies, and commercial entities worldwide. This is achieved not only through superior technology, like their proprietary MN-MIMO waveform that enables self-healing, self-forming mesh networks, but also through dedicated customer support. The team is passionate about 'Keeping Our Heroes Connected,' reflecting a deep understanding of the critical nature of the communications they enable. Silvus continues to push the boundaries of tactical communications, with ongoing R&D efforts ensuring that today's incubated concepts will become tomorrow's product breakthroughs, ultimately enhancing safety, security, and operational effectiveness for those who rely on their technology in high-stakes environments.
