Founded in 2019 by Simon Köstler and Filip Mierzwa, our Berlin-based startup emerged from a deep passion for culinary excellence and sustainable living. We began our journey in 2012 when the two founders met during their university studies in Würzburg, sharing a common frustration with the compromises of existing cookware. We are dedicated to crafting long-lasting, minimalist kitchen classics that redefine modern cooking. Our signature cast-iron skillet represents the essence of thoughtful German engineering - smoother, lighter, and more versatile than traditional cast iron, yet built to last a lifetime. Every STUR product is proudly designed and manufactured in Germany, reflecting our unwavering commitment to quality, durability, and eco-friendly practices. As a small, close-knit team, we value collaboration and direct communication. We work in an open coworking environment that fosters daily exchange with like-minded startups.
