TAP Engineering (TAP) was founded in 2020 on the belief that there was a gap in the Defense and Intelligence Community for a small, rapid-response hardware engineering firm. Our steady growth in top talent, industry partners and customers has validated that belief. Early on, TAP won research contracts focused in the areas of microelectronics hardware trust, additive manufacturing and quantum computing. Since then, we've expanded beyond research into software development, hardware engineering design, manufacturing and test. Our engineers and research scientists are actively supporting the development of electronics solutions for numerous customers within the Defense and Intelligence Community across a multitude of platforms from aerospace to cyberspace. TAP's core focus is providing trusted, novel, turn-key microelectronics research, engineering and manufacturing services. At TAP, we have built a reputation for providing innovative approaches to solving our customers' hardest problems through creative and innovative application of technology, culminating in quality hardware and software.
