We are Trillium Health Resources, a leading Local Management Entity/Managed Care Organization (LME/MCO) dedicated to transforming lives and building community well-being across eastern North Carolina. Our mission is deeply rooted in the belief that every individual deserves access to the right care, in the right amount, at the right time. We specialize in managing publicly funded services for individuals with serious mental health conditions, substance use disorders, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and traumatic brain injuries. By partnering with a vast network of providers and community stakeholders, we ensure that our members receive high-quality, person-centered care that empowers them to reach their fullest potential. Our organization was formed through the strategic consolidation of East Carolina Behavioral Health and CoastalCare in 2015, creating a stronger, more resilient entity capable of serving a large and diverse region. We take pride in our role as a local government agency that operates with the efficiency and innovation of a modern healthcare organization. We are committed to reinvesting savings back into our communities, funding initiatives that address social determinants of health such as housing, transportation, and food insecurity. Whether through our innovative projects like inclusive playgrounds or our dedicated support for the NC Medicaid Tailored Plan, we strive to create a healthcare system that is accessible, equitable, and responsive to the unique needs of the people we serve.
