Many educators and students face the challenge of an educational system that doesn't always provide the necessary tools and support for every student to thrive, particularly those from historically marginalized communities. UnboundEd exists to address this by partnering with educators to transform instruction. Our customers, who are teachers, school administrators, and district leaders, are seeking ways to improve instructional quality and student outcomes. They understand that a one-size-fits-all approach doesn't work and are looking for evidence-based strategies to make learning more effective and equitable. That's why we focus on what we call GLEAM® instruction – an approach that is Grade-level, Engaging, Affirming, and Meaningful. This framework ensures that instruction is not only aligned with appropriate academic standards but also taps into students' unique assets and experiences, fostering a caring and collaborative classroom environment where learning is relevant to their lives beyond the classroom. Our customers are dedicated to breaking the predictability of student outcomes based on race, language, or socioeconomic status. They recognize the urgent need to address unfinished instruction, a term we prefer over 'learning loss,' as it more accurately reflects the systemic issues and interrupted schooling that many students have faced. We provide a comprehensive suite of services, including the Standards Institute™, UnboundEd Summits, and support for curriculum implementation and adoption, all designed to drive fundamental change from the classroom to the central office.
