About the Role
As a Front-End Developer at Rankings.io, you will be responsible for transforming design concepts into
responsive, optimized, and visually appealing web pages using WordPress and the Gutenberg editor. Your role will focus on page layout design, visual enhancements, and maintaining brand consistency across client websites. You’ll collaborate with designers, developers, and SEO strategists to implement modern web experiences that drive user engagement and support SEO goals.
Responsibilities
● Build and maintain responsive, accessible, and SEO-friendly websites using WordPress and the
Gutenberg block editor.
● Design and implement visually appealing page layouts that align with client branding and conversion
goals.
● Enhance UI/UX through custom styling, animations, and optimization best practices.
● Collaborate with the creative and SEO teams to implement content in a way that is both aesthetically
pleasing and performance-oriented.
● Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues and inconsistencies across browsers and devices.
● Stay current on front-end development trends, WordPress updates, and Gutenberg improvements.
Requirements
● 2–4+ years of front-end development experience, with a strong focus on WordPress.
● Proficiency with Gutenberg block editor and page layout design within WordPress.
● Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3 (including Flexbox/Grid), JavaScript (vanilla and/or jQuery).
● Experience designing responsive layouts and enhancing visual components.
● Familiarity with performance optimization techniques (lazy loading, minification, etc.).
● Strong attention to detail with an eye for clean, user-friendly design.
● Ability to work in a fast-paced, remote team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
