We are seeking a full-stack software engineer with a strong backend focus to build and maintain services, integrations, and web experiences for a modern content management platform. The role combines Node.js backend development, React and Next.js frontend work, headless CMS implementation, API integrations, automated testing, personalization, and performance improvement. AI-assisted development is part of the day-to-day workflow, but AI engineering or large language model expertise is not required.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and maintain backend services and API integrations supporting content-managed web experiences.

- Develop and maintain Node.js services, REST APIs, and GraphQL or gRPC integrations.

- Build and maintain React components and content blocks for marketing and web experiences.

- Develop and optimize server-side rendering and static-site generation workflows using Next.js or a similar framework.

- Implement content models and manage schema changes in Contentstack.

- Build reusable UI components and dynamic forms.

- Integrate third-party APIs and troubleshoot end-to-end data flows.

- Support personalization and A/B testing capabilities.

- Develop and maintain automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.

- Apply AI-assisted development practices to implementation, testing, productivity, and troubleshooting.

- Contribute to platform performance, scalability, reliability, and stability.

- Participate in Git-based development workflows and CI/CD processes.

Must-Have Skills

- Approximately 4-5+ years of software engineering experience preferred.

- Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills.

- Strong Node.js and backend-development experience.

- Strong React experience.

- Experience with Next.js or a similar server-side rendering framework.

- Experience building backend services and REST APIs.

- Experience with GraphQL or gRPC.

- Experience integrating third-party APIs.

- Experience with a headless CMS such as Contentstack, Contentful, Strapi, or a similar platform.

- Experience building reusable UI components and dynamic forms.

- Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.

- Experience with Jest, Playwright, React Testing Library, or similar testing tools.

- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD.

- Experience with code-quality tools such as ESLint and Prettier.

- Experience using AI-assisted development practices in day-to-day engineering work.

- Experience supporting personalization and A/B testing.

- Enterprise experience strongly preferred.

Nice-to-Have Skills

- Emotion or another CSS-in-JS approach.

- Storybook or Chromatic.

- Accessibility testing.

- Experience working with a design system.

- Koa, Express.js, or a similar Node.js framework.

- Redis or another caching technology.

- Performance and caching optimization.

- Google Maps integrations.
