Contract Period: 4 January to 12 November 2027.
Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:
• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 8:00am to 5:30pm. Thursday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Each shift includes a one-hour lunch break.
• Weekends and gazetted public holidays are off.
Requirements:
• At least three years working directly with children in educational, community or correctional settings is preferred.
• A diploma or higher qualification in Child Psychology, Education, Early Childhood Education, Developmental Psychology or an equivalent field is preferred.
• Ability to engage Primary 1 to 3 pupils, build trust and encourage their development.
Job Scopes:
The Services required are set out as follows:
1. Help the Student Development Team establish facts in misconduct and bullying cases. Compile and share records of late arrivals and serious offences.
2. Supervise pupils during No-Play Time, in-house suspension and classroom time-outs. Use restorative conversations to help pupils understand what happened and return to learning.
3. Support pupils with behavioural needs in class. Mentor identified pupils and patrol assigned areas to support attendance, safety and engagement.
4. Accompany the Head of Student Management or Year Heads on home visits.
5. Deliver targeted social-emotional and executive functioning activities during FTGP and CCE periods.
6. Assist teachers with after-school enrichment for pupils with high support needs and provide additional student management support in class as assigned.
