Summary

Junior Project Manager coordinates military hardware/software projects, interprets technical requirements, and ensures project feasibility and logistics support for government contracts.

Sigma Defense is seeking a Junior Project Manager to organize, direct, and coordinate planning and implementation of technical projects.

This is a contingent position that is pending award of contract. This means that the position is subject to the successful awarding of a contract and will be confirmed once the contract is finalized. The candidate selected for this role will be offered the position on the condition that the contract is awarded to our organization.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in managing technical projects in a military hardware/software development environment.
  • Experience Substitution: MA/MS/MBA from an accredited college or university & PMP Certification may be substituted for 2 years of experience.
  • Experience in DoW (preferably Army) vehicle integration work is preferred.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Accounting, Program Management, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field of study.
  • 5 additional years of experience may be substituted for degree requirement.

Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):

  • Interface with government personnel.
  • Formulate and review project feasibility studies, determine costs, ensure conformance to work standards.
  • Interpret technical requirements for specific project based activities. Manage logistics support analysis for military systems.
  • Manage systems safety studies. Identify, acquire and utilize company resources to achieve project technical objectives.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 annually.
