About the Company…
Master
Steel is a family oriented and multicultural team, that has been established
for over 25 years as a specialist in steel fabrication, located in the heart of
the Gold Coast. They provide a holistic array of services including assembly of
complex steel components, structural steel testing and fabrication across the
construction, commercial, heavy industries and public sectors.
Due
to their extensive year-on-end growth within the industry, the company is now
seeking to employ two additional Trade qualified (or equivalent) Boilermakers to
join their workshop fabrication team.
About the Position…
In
this position, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting fabrication
drawings, performing MIG (GMAW) and stick welding, as well as general labouring
including grinding, cutting and transport. You will need to have experience in operating
cranes and/or other incidental lifting equipment, comfortable in performing
occasional site installation and on-site welding and be able to work
independently to meet deadlines and client requests.
Furthermore, the following is required:
- Construction White
Card
- Current Drivers
Licence
- Copy of Trade
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be a Trade qualified (or equivalent) Boilermaker.
Having the
following licences (Highly Beneficial) will result in salary being adjusted
according to additional skill levels:
- Welding experience
using Low Hydrogen Electrodes on site (Highly Advantageous)
- Forklift Ticket, High Risk Work
License, EWP, First Aid License
- Additional trades
(i.e. mechanic, fitter, etc)
