Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity
Our Hastings team is growing and we’re looking for an experienced 3 Waters Tradesperson who knows their way around water infrastructure projects.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll take ownership on-site working across urban and rural water, wastewater and stormwater networks, from installation through to completion.
You’ll be involved in:
- Installing and upgrading reticulation systems, pipelines and drainage infrastructure to council standards
- Reading and interpreting plans, specs and QA requirements
- Running small sites or leading work fronts when required
- Operating plant including excavators, loaders and trucks
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard
This role suits someone who’s not just labouring-but understands how water jobs come together and can step up on site.
Ngā pūkenga matua | What you’ll bring
- National Certificate in Water, Wastewater and Storm Water in level 4
- Previous experience in electrofusion welding and buttwelding
- Prior experience in running and looking after 3 water projects
Certification in Drainlaying would be highly regarded
- Class 2 licence + WTR
- Confidence operating plant and machinery
- Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
