ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Design, develop and maintain scalable full-stack applications within the GAIA ecosystem.
- Develop backend services, APIs and microservices using Python.
- Build modern Angular-based front-end solutions.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, UX designers and business stakeholders to refine requirements.
- Translate business requirements into secure and maintainable technical solutions.
- Integrate AI capabilities and enterprise knowledge services into GAIA applications.
- Ensure code quality through unit testing, peer reviews and engineering best practices.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups and retrospectives.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Monitor production systems and resolve incidents.
- Contribute to platform architecture decisions and technical improvements.
- Document solutions according to compliance and quality standards.
- Support and mentor junior developers where appropriate.
- Continuously evaluate emerging AI and software engineering technologies for adoption within GAIA.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 46 years of professional software development experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Python development.
- Minimum 23 years of Angular development experience.
- Proven experience delivering enterprise-grade cloud applications.
- Experience working in Agile software delivery environments.
- Experience with AWS-based solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and take ownership of features from design to production.
- Experience in AI, GenAI or platform engineering environments is highly desirable.
- Previous exposure to large-scale enterprise platforms is advantageous.
