Assistant Product Engineer (NPI)
Salary: $2,800 – $3,500
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Location: Joo Koon
Job Responsibilities:
- Support new product introduction (NPI) and ongoing product development activities
- Assist in improving manufacturing and production processes for better efficiency and quality
- Collaborate with engineers and production operators to test, validate, and enhance products
- Perform regular machine checks and coordinate preventive maintenance activities
- Inspect tools and equipment, and report any abnormalities or defects
- Ensure products meet required quality standards and specifications
- Support First Article (FA) builds and prepare related documentation and reports
- Troubleshoot equipment and process-related issues to minimize downtime
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and achieve project targets
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Engineering or a related field
- At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Understanding of production processes, quality control, or NPI is an advantage
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Able to work independently and perform under pressure
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
