Software Engineer (Automation Control)

$3,500 – $5,000

Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:45pm

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software for automated equipment.
• Review, maintain, and enhance existing software and legacy code.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with installed automation systems.
• Prepare user manuals and technical documentation for developed programs.
• Liaise with customers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in the automation industry.
• Proficient in PC-based programming, such as Visual C#.
• Familiar with PLC programming, such as Omron or Beckhoff.
• Familiar with motion controllers and actuators, such as IAI or AD Link.
• Willing to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Willing to travel and work at customer sites when required.
