Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS services, ensuring high availability, performance, and compliance with security best practices.

Develop, automate, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, Ansible, and Python to streamline software delivery and infrastructure deployments.

Manage, monitor, and support enterprise infrastructure environments, following a "you build it, you own it, you support it" approach throughout the application lifecycle.

Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver infrastructure and platform solutions, troubleshoot production issues, and continuously improve DevOps processes.

Implement infrastructure automation and configuration management solutions using Ansible and, where applicable, Terraform, while ensuring operational reliability, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
Requirements

Required technologies: Python, AWS Services, CI/CD tooling including Jenkins, Git, Ansible.

Optional technologies: Terraform.

Broad experience working across many AWS services. You must believe that security is a fundamental aspect of delivering solutions and know what it takes to do so in an AWS context.

Practical understanding of DevOps practices and Agile working techniques ("You build it, you own it, you support it" mentality).

Demonstrable enterprise infrastructure delivery success stories.

Good understanding of Linux and/or Windows operating systems.

Proficient experience with CI/CD tooling including Jenkins, Git, Ansible, etc.
Nice to have:

Good non-functional testing experience.

Understanding of risk management and ensuring compliance against relevant regulatory processes.

Experience working in a highly regulated industry.
