Description
We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Infrastructure Project Manager on a 6-month contract basis to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of infrastructure and workplace technology initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with technology teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and project sponsors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in accordance with organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning and Delivery
- Support the planning, execution, and implementation of infrastructure-related projects.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress and proactively identify risks, issues, and mitigation plans.
- Coordinate project activities across infrastructure, security, application, and business teams.
- Ensure project deliverables are completed within agreed timelines and quality standards.
Stakeholder and Vendor Management
- Act as the key project coordination point between internal teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors.
- Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and status reviews.
- Track action items and ensure timely follow-up and closure.
- Escalate project risks and issues appropriately to project sponsors and management.
Governance and Reporting
- Prepare project status reports, dashboards, and presentations for management updates.
- Maintain project documentation, including project plans, meeting minutes, risk logs, and change records.
- Ensure compliance with project governance requirements and technology standards.
- Support audit, risk, and regulatory documentation requirements where applicable.
Technology Delivery Support
- Coordinate infrastructure implementation activities, including network, digital workplace, cloud, collaboration, and security-related initiatives.
- Support testing, migration, deployment, and post-implementation activities.
- Work with technical teams to ensure solutions are properly documented and transitioned into operations.
Technical Knowledge
- Good understanding of infrastructure technologies, including:
Network and connectivity services
Digital workplace technologies
Microsoft 365 and collaboration platforms
Cloud infrastructure
Information security and technology risk fundamentals
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in IT infrastructure project management or project coordination.
- Experience delivering infrastructure, workplace technology, network, security, or cloud-related projects.
- Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM, Agile, Scrum Master, or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience using project management and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365.
