As an Acceleration Center - Private PCS - Manager, you will play a pivotal role in providing tax services, focusing on tax planning, compliance, and strategy to help clients navigate complex tax regulations. Within our Tax practice, you will validate clients' adherence to tax laws, review financial data, and assist in minimizing risks of non-compliance. As a Manager, you will lead teams and manage client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff. You are accountable for project success and maintaining standards. Enhancing your leadership style, you motivate, develop, and inspire others to deliver quality. You are responsible for coaching, leveraging team members' unique strengths, and managing performance to deliver on client expectations. With your growing knowledge of how business works, you play an important role in identifying opportunities that contribute to the success of our Firm. You are expected to lead with integrity and authenticity, articulating our purpose and values in a meaningful way. You embrace technology and innovation to enhance your delivery and encourage others to do the same. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Mexico, you will be instrumental in driving client engagement workstreams, supervising teams, and independently solving complex problems to develop deliverables.

Responsibilities

- Leading tax compliance workstreams and managing client expectations effectively
- Guiding teams in the preparation and filing of tax returns to meet regulatory requirements
- Utilizing analytical skills to review and analyze financial data for tax compliance
- Developing and implementing tax strategies to optimize client tax positions
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients to address tax-related inquiries and challenges
- Promoting the use of innovative technologies and leading practices in tax compliance
- Confirming data integrity and compliance within tax frameworks
- Identifying opportunities for improving tax processes and minimizing risks of non-compliance
- Mentoring junior staff to enhance their skills and performance in tax services
- Collaborating with team leadership to validate quality, timelines, and deliverables

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree in the following field of study: Accounting
- At least 5 years of experience
- A Bachelor's Degree or Professional License (T�tulo or C�dula Profesional) are required. Candidates whose Bachelor's Degree and/or Professional License are still pending must provide an official Letter of Completion issued by the University confirming that all academic and social service requirements are complete in order to be eligible to hire. The final Bachelor's Degree and/or Professional License must be submitted to the firm�s HC department, within 12 months as of effective start/hire date, pursuant to the corresponding executed employment agreement.
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

- In Tax, Manager, Senior Manager, and Director roles prefer candidates who hold an active primary credential, such as one of the following: (1) US CPA or foreign equivalent (2) US Enrolled Agent in good standing with an appropriate regulatory body (3) a firm-approved secondary credential
