Accountant (Cash Management)

As an Accountant (Cash Management), you will perform accounting and cash management functions, analyze and reconcile financial information, prepare financial reports, and help ensure funds are effectively managed to support programs and services. Examines, analyzes, interprets, and reconciles financial accounts, transactions, records, and other financial information; verifies general ledger balances and determines necessary adjustments or corrections. Reviews and analyzes financial reports and statements to identify discrepancies, abnormal trends, reporting deficiencies, and internal control weaknesses and develops corrective solutions. Conducts financial management studies and analyzes financial processes, systems, policies, and procedures to recommend improvements to accounting operations, controls, and financial reporting. Manages and analyzes cash flow to minimize financial risk and ensure funding is available to support organizational operations, programs, and services. Forecasts cash needs and develops strategies to optimize the use and control of cash and improve the management of organizational financial resources.
