Our ACCOUNTING professionals have a working knowledge of both GAAP and statutory accounting practices. There are a variety of different career choices within the accounting team that range from accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, state and federal taxation, and special reporting. The insurance element coupled with being part of a publicly held organization provides a dynamic work experience that our accounting professionals enjoy.
Our internal audit team strives to add value and improve our organization by building relationships and partnering with management to recognize and control exposures. As an internal auditor at Great West, you are able to see the big picture in how the entire company flows and be part of interesting audits within the Old Republic structure. Our auditors enjoy the work/life balance that comeswith a flexible work schedule. Their audit schedule is planned a year in advance, so travel for the upcoming year is planned and is limited to no more than 25% of their job.
