Accounting Clerk

Muhlbauer, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Clerk located in the Newport News, VA area to support our Accounting Team. The Accounting Clerk will assist in Accounts Payable / Receivable, processing payroll, and with file maintenance.

• Process payroll to include performing payroll allocations for month end closing
• Accounts Receivable: receipt and posting of payments
• Accounts Payable: matching invoices, invoice entry, and vendor file maintenance
• Must be organized with storage and maintenance of all payroll / financial records
• Assist in other duties as assigned

• Intermediate level math skills with the ability to do quick addition
• Experience in Microsoft Professional Office
• SAP knowledge is preferred
• Organized work behavior with the ability to multitask and prioritize as needed
• Excellent record keeping skills
• Detail-oriented
• Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
• Ability to meet stringent deadlines, prioritize work, and operate in a fast-paced environment
