Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage cash flow forecasting, treasury activities, foreign exchange risk management, and banking relationships.
• Approve financial transactions including payments, fund transfers, fixed deposits, and loan-related activities.
• Lead annual budgeting and budget revisions in collaboration with department heads.
• Prepare and review monthly Actual vs Budget analysis reports for management decision-making.
• Report financial and management information to headquarters accurately and on time.
• Oversee month-end and year-end financial closing processes and preparation of financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with Financial Reporting Standards (FRS) and internal accounting policies.
• Coordinate with external auditors on financial reporting reviews, statutory audits.
• Plan, execute, document, and compliance activities.
• Manage taxation matters including Corporate Income Tax, GST, Withholding Tax, Transfer Pricing, and overseas tax compliance.
• Prepare and submit regulatory tax filings accurately and within stipulated deadlines.
• Coordinate corporate secretarial matters, including AGM, annual returns, director changes, authorised signatory updates, and share-related transactions.
• Work with external legal and corporate secretarial service providers to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with department heads to strengthen internal controls, policies, and operational procedures.
• Drive process improvement initiatives and enhance accounting system efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of accounting and finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of corporate finance, financial accounting, taxation, treasury, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Experience managing Corporate Income Tax, GST, Withholding Tax, Transfer Pricing, and related tax matters.
• Knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards (FRS) and internal control frameworks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and accounting software.
