Accounting Manager LATAM & Canada

Lead Accounting Excellence Across Latin America & Canada

OMRON is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager LATAM & Canada to lead accounting operations, financial governance, compliance, and reporting across a complex multinational environment.

This is not a traditional accounting leadership role.

We are seeking a strategic finance leader who can drive regional standardization, influence executive stakeholders, manage complex IFRS matters, lead audits, strengthen internal controls, and accelerate finance transformation initiatives across Brazil, Mexico, Canada, and other LATAM entities.

In this role, you will:

✅ Lead accounting operations and financial reporting across multiple countries

✅ Own IFRS compliance, statutory reporting, audits, and internal controls

✅ Serve as the regional accounting expert for IFRS 16, IFRS 15, IFRS 9, IAS 12, IAS 36, and emerging accounting standards

✅ Partner with global leadership and headquarters on strategic accounting matters

✅ Drive automation, digital transformation, process harmonization, and continuous improvement

✅ Develop and lead a high-performing accounting team across the region

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

• Active CRC certification (mandatory)

• 8+ years of Accounting, Audit, or Controllership experience

• Leadership experience managing accounting teams

• Strong multinational and regional accounting experience

• Advanced English communication skills

• Deep technical expertise in IFRS and financial reporting

• Experience leading external audits, internal controls, and compliance programs
