Key responsibilities
- Financial management: Oversee the preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Cost control: Monitor and analyze F&B costs, manage variances, and implement effective waste-reduction strategies.
- Compliance: Ensure full adherence to ZATCA regulations, VAT filings, and local financial laws.
- Inventory & audit: Supervise stocktaking processes and ensure seamless integration between POS systems and the general ledger.
- Strategic planning: Lead budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow management to support business growth.
- Leadership: Direct and mentor the accounting team to maintain high standards of accuracy and productivity.
Requirements & qualifications
- Experience: A minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance.
- Industry focus: Proven expertise specifically within the F&B or hospitality sector.
- Market knowledge: Solid experience within the GCC market is essential.
- Technical skills: Proficiency in advanced ERP systems and financial reporting software.
